Preparing a Korean BBQ equipment quote for financing review

Start a restaurant equipment financing review with a quote that identifies the equipment and separates the other project costs. The provider can then review a defined purchase and explain its current application requirements and terms.
HiLEE's restaurant equipment financing page provides the route to its financing inquiry. Prepare the equipment scope before submitting financial information or treating a proposed payment as an approved offer.
Identify each item in the equipment quote
Use the same model names and quantities on the equipment schedule and the supplier's quote. Separate components that the restaurant needs to buy individually.
For a SC-9800 table frame, ask the quote to identify the frame, tabletop and appliance on separate lines. The current frame listing excludes the tabletop and grill. A photograph of an assembled table does not establish the scope of the order.
Use the tabletop material comparison to choose the finish and construction before finalizing the table package. Keep that specification with the itemized quote.
For a DB-2017G grill system, request the exact appliance configuration and the components supplied with it. Keep building ventilation and installation work as named lines, even when another contractor will quote them.
Use the equipment quote comparison guide to resolve substitutions and missing components before sending the purchase for review.
Separate the amount you want reviewed
Ask the provider which quoted costs it will consider. Identify the equipment, delivery, taxes, installation and any other work separately. Keep unquoted allowances visible rather than folding them into an unexplained equipment total.
If the restaurant will pay for some work directly, record that amount separately from the request sent to the provider. Obtain the final supplier quote and ask how any change affects the financing review.
Ask for the provider's document list
Request the current list of business, ownership and equipment documents through the provider's application route. Follow its instructions for sending personal or financial information. An equipment inquiry does not need to contain those records.
LeaseQ's restaurant financing information describes financing and leasing options. Ask the provider to explain the agreement it proposes for your business; the product name alone does not establish ownership or the end-of-term arrangement.
Compare the complete proposed agreement
Ask for the payment schedule, term, upfront amounts and fees in writing. Confirm the total payments, any end-of-term payment or purchase option, and what happens if the equipment order changes.
Check who handles insurance, service, early payoff and delivery delays under the proposed agreement. Do not carry a rate or payment example from another restaurant into your budget as an available offer.
Coordinate approval with the delivery plan
Ask the supplier and provider to identify the conditions that must be met before ordering, payment and shipment. Keep the installer informed of the delivery plan. A financing conversation does not confirm that the building is ready for the equipment.
Review the equipment delivery checklist before agreeing to the receiving arrangements.
Request an itemized equipment quote with the model list, quantities, site address and delivery scope. Use that quote when asking the financing provider what it can consider.
